Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Accounts clerk / accountant from A to Z

Job responsibilities:

• Handing purchase invoices in Basware (e.g. scanning, coding, managing the flow)
• Support country accountant in different bookkeeping & reporting related matters
• Coordinating sales invoicing between sales invoicing team and local project management
• Coordinating credit control and credit collection
• Handling payments
• Hour data control and time sheet registrations for externals
• Ensure quality and correctness of data provided for outsourced payroll service provider
• Travel expense claim control
• Act as a local contact towards outsourced service providers, auditor and tax authorities
• Other financial tasks as agreed with Line Manager
• Accounting – banks, salaries, purchase invoices, month-end and year-end closing, accruals/provisions
  • Control of payroll – after data / payslips are prepared by an external provider
  • Sales invoicing (meanwhile handled by shared service centre in Vaasa, but process should be known for support)
  • Control of entries in time recording systems (Ontime, E4SE)
  • Budgeting
  • Daily operational finance tasks
  • Local contact for auditors
  • Local contact for customers, suppliers, local team in CNO.

Your qualifications:

• Must have experience from Norwegian projects
• Background / education in finance, economics, or accounting
• A few years’ experience

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway. Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
